The NE Area Training Net, NE1TGS, is conducted Mondays from 1800 to 1900 Eastern.
Training Net 1TGS02 is conducted by appointment, on an "as needed" basis.
NE3TGS is offered as a special training needs net.

SPECIAL NOTICE
All region members are invited to "drop by" the training nets and join in. We anticipate having round-table discussions as well as training. These sessions have been hugely successful in the past and have generated some excellent discussions on all matters MARS radio.
INTERESTED IN BEING AN NCS?

We are always seeking members to join our NCS cadre. Why not get involved in this aspect of Air Force MARS? It's easy to do.

Follow this checklist and you will be successful:
1. Notify your State Mars Director, (SMD), of your intentions by e-mail.
2. Send an e-mail to AFE3VN, Area 1 Voice Net Manager, with info to AFA1BJ requesting training for NCS duties.
3. Download and study Section II, Voice Net Control Training Guide, of the MARS Training Manual, found on the web site marsregionone.org under TRANING.
4. Check into the NCS training net, NE3TGS, 2200Z, on RB, third Wednesday of each month.
5. After home study, volunteer for Alternate Net Control Station. (ANCS), on NE1S1 or NE2S1.
6. Full certification by AFE3VN comes with experience and acceptance of NCS duties.
