  Steps:
  1.  Cut and drill five strain relief pieces as shown.  Prepare 12" coax stub with a PL259 at one end.
  2.  Cut your RG8X (Mini RG8) to length; one solid piece from end to end.
  3.  Mark points #2L, #1 (center) and #2R using vinyl tape.
  4.  Thread the RG8X through the strain relief pieces, beginning at the center (#1L) and working your way out to 3L.
Now Repeat with the right side beginning with #1R and working out to 3R.
Leave fairly large loops at points #2L, #2R and #1.
  5.  At End #3L, open coax to expose center and braid, about 1 1/2".  Short and solder the center to the braid.
  6.  Cut coax in two at point #2L, where you marked with tape, Open both ends exposing the center
and braid.  Short all together and solder.
  7.  Move to point #1 (center).  Carefully remove about 2" of cover from the coax, being careful to cut just  to the
braid. Now at the center of the opened space, cut the braid and separate so there is an equal amount on the
       "L" end and "R" end.
  8.   Thread the stub into place.  Now attach and solder the stub center conductor to the "L" end of the antenna coax braid.
Then attach and solder the stub braid to the "R" end braid.
  9.   Now move to point #2R and repeat step #6 to #2R.
  10. Now move to point #3R and repeat step #5 at #3R.
  11. Sealing the joints is very important.  Most of us have our own "tricks" which we've found work for us.  Keep in mind
that if your antenna separates at a joint, and you have "gooped" that place, you will have to deal with it.  I found that
just liberal use of vinyl tape is fine if you get it tight with good over lap.
  12. After the joints are sealed pull the coax tight against the strain relief pieces.
Using vinyl tape, secure the coax to the strain relief pieces.
  13.  The coax lead-in length is important insofar as insuring it is not a multiple (+/-) of the design frequency.
  14.  There is a simple and very effective way of lengthing the lead-in coax.  Wind a loop (choke) of coax (RG8X - mini RG8) about 12"
12" in diameter and approximately 9 to 11 loops.  Leave yourself a stub about two feet long at one end.
Put PL259's on each end, attaching the stub to your tuner or rig and the other end, via a double ended coax connector,
to the incoming antenna feed line.  Wind the coil of coax in an irregular pattern and use tape or nylon strap to secure it.
I recommend this "coax choke" for anyone who is using the bazooka, as a matter of fact.
