MISCELLANEOUS TECH NOTES
Desktop Homeland Security Alert Status

If you are interested in putting the Homeland Security Alert Display on your Desktop,
click on this URL http://www.dhs.gov/dhspublic/display?theme=29.
Once it is loaded simply go to the Home Land Security Display up in the right hand corner and double right click on it and select (set as desktop item). Once on the desktop simply click on the small Down arrow in the upper left hand gray area that appears only when you move the curser at top of HLSA display. Another display will appear and all you need then is click on synchronize.
