Novel Guying Method.
I had a problem guying my homebrew vertical and came up with this configuration. The center cross-arm consists of a PVC 'T' which is slipped over the vertical and held in place with a screw clamp and guying washer under it. Two 3' pieces of PVC pipe are then installed as the 'arms'. A small line is attached to a point about 6' from the top of the antenna then through the cross-arm and anchored to the roof edge. This is repeated for the other cross-arm. It stayed up in several severe (60+ MPH gusts) storms.
