MARS MEMBERS BEWARE!

The January 2010 issue of Popular Communications magazine on pages 75 thru 77, gives one more important reason why MARS members should be careful in how they conduct themselves on the air.

Many of the MARS frequencies, Army, Navy/Marine Corps and Air Force, are listed with brief details of what was heard on the air, including MARS call signs. This includes many references to Region 4.

We can never be sure of who is listening. By conducting our communications in a professional manner, and without language not appropriate on the air, we need not be concerned about becoming the subject of a less than flattering article or reference in the press.
